Drink Tea & Keep Calm

Fat Man Eating

Herbalife's Relaxation Tea is being released very shortly. We will send out a notification as soon as the product is available. Here are the main active ingredients and what they can do for you.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)

Lemon balm, a member of the mint family, is considered a calming herb. It was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion (including gas and bloating, as well as colic).

Lemon balm is said to soothe symptoms of stress, help you to relax, and boost your mood. One study found that taking lemon balm eased the negative mood effects of laboratory-induced psychological stress. Participants who took lemon balm self-reported an increased sense of calmness and reduced feelings of alertness.

Lemon balm may also be used to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, such as nervousness and excitability.

Passionflower (Passiflora Incarnata)

P. incarnata has many common names, including purple passionflower and maypop. Early studies suggest it might help relieve insomnia and anxiety. It appears to boost the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in your brain. This compound lowers brain activity, which may help you relax and sleep better.

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)

Chamomile is an herb that comes from the daisy-like flowers of the Asteraceae plant family. It has been consumed for centuries as a natural remedy for several conditions.

Chamomile has some unique properties that may benefit the quality of your sleep. It contains apigenin, an antioxidant that binds to certain receptors in your brain that may promote sleepiness and reduce insomnia, or the chronic inability to sleep.
